South Florida is lucky to have some of the best Steak houses in the Country. We love restaurants like Papi Steak, Playa Miami, Barton G, Smith & Wollenky and The Capital Grille. Unfortunately, these restaurants are forced to charge astronomical prices for their steaks due to high monthly rents and employees. One thing we all have in common is the quality of the steaks. Parrillabox Gourmet BBQ uses USDA Prime meats, A5 Japanese Wagyu steaks, organic poultry and Wild caught fresh fish and seafood. Luckily, onsite BBQ catering is all we do; therefore we don't have the overhead as most of these restaurants. We are able to serve onsite the same amazing steaks, fish and seafood at a quarter of the price.
Everyone knows that when it comes down to Steaks, The Argentinians know best. Our unique charcoal and wood cooking system comes from amazing countries like Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Brazil. Countries where they serve your steak with salt, pepper and love covered in a magical chimichurri sauce. We added some traditional Spanish appetizers like Gambas al Ajillo (Garlic Shrimp) and Pulpo a la Gallega (Spanish style grilled Octopus). CEO & Chef Ulises Garcia is a US Navy Veteran Chef who attended Culinary Arts school in 1991.
As a Culinary Specialist Third class, he had the pleasure to travel all over Europe and learned from top caliber Chefs and Culinary Specialist. He loves to cook Spanish cuisine with a Caribbean Flavor. He began to discover his talent for cooking onboard his US Navy ship. During his tour onboard the USS Suribachi when he was appointed as the Chief's Mess Hall cook. In the Navy, The Chief Petty Officers ran the Vessel and would always pick their best cooks to cook for them. After spending 4 years in the military, he came back to Miami, he continued to pursuit his passion for Culinary Arts and began working with Uruguayan Chef & Parrillero Grill Master "Don Julio". His Journey with Don Julio led him to begin combining a South American Flavor with his European and Island Fusion. He called his Fusion Coach Big U's Gourmet Barbecue. Besides Culinary Arts, he also loves Strength and Conditioning. He is a certified Strength and conditioning coach who loves working with athletes of all levels. His life mission is simple: I love to have fun; When you are having fun and have passion for your job, you never work a day in your life.

The Big Time Grill Masters know the ribeye is known to most steak lovers as the most flavorful cut of steak. This cut comes from the ribs of the cow, right between the loin and shoulder. The cuts include incredible fat marbling, which adds the rich flavors and juicy texture. When grilled, this wealth of intramuscular fat combines with the elements released from the large bone to give its sweet, rich flavor and buttery, melt-in-your-mouth texture.
One of the great stars of the Brazilian churrasco dinner is the Pichaña Steak, known to American butchers as the sirloin cap or coulotte steak, and it is delicious! Pichaña is a steak-like cut, not a slow-cooking tough cut, and so it is better suited for grilling. The Pichaña comes with a thick layer of buttery fat on top known as the cap.
